I made this writing desk as a personal project in order to demonstrate my approach to furniture design at ICFF in New York and London Design Week 2014. The legs are removed using a brass wedge and tie-piece that serve both functionally and as a feature. It remains a good example of my interest in creating visually light designs from solid wood.
