Pottery Display Shelves

This unit was designed specifically to display work in a pottery studio. I chose to use un-finished Douglas Fir for its visual warmth that sits comfortably with the naturals tones of her work. The spaces can be adjusted by locating hidden grooves on the underside of each shelf onto wooden dowels that are set into the sides of the unit. The brief was to make something that was flexible and functional that had a gallery quality.
